Policy at the Perimeter
Policy at the Perimeter (PatP) is an organization offering practical analysis and community development across a range of issues affecting marginalized and historically underrepresented populations connecting populations from the Greater Atlanta Metropolitan Area to the world. We bring together expert policymakers, community organizations, institutional stakeholders, religious organizations, students, academics and business leaders with a common interest in developing grassroots public policy solutions.
PatP promotes policy reform and grassroots collaboration to address pressing social issues through evidence-based research and community engaged methods to address racial and ethnic disparities and socioeconomic inequalities and to improve outcomes in housing, healthcare, environment, energy, and international diplomacy. We promote grassroots solutions that emphasize "groundings" and partnerships through a diverse portfolio of policy papers, publications, events, and public facing collaborations.
The mission of Policy at the Perimeter is to learn both from marginalized voices and historically underrepresented communities to make contributions to the policy debate in ways that empower and transform communities of color and other groups that are often ignored in the public policy process.
